Ponnam Chetan successfully participated in the Letter Writing Competition Organised By SGSH Publication.

Dear Chetan,

I know you’re extremely busy these days, and I’ve tried to talk to you several times, but time didn’t gave a chance . That’s why I’m writing this letter to you.

I miss you, Chetan. I really miss you. I remember the carefree boy you used to be, always happy and full of life. You were a boy who fought for what you wanted, but now it seems like you’re giving up on things for reasons I’m not sure of.

I miss our gang of friends who would meet every day and evening, having fun and enjoying life without any restrictions. I know everyone is now scattered across different states and countries, busy with their jobs, but I really want to meet them once again and have a great fun with them.

Do you remember when you would always say to others, “No one can remove your smile from your face”? I never thought I’d be saying this to you, but you need to hear it now. Since your friends scattered to different places , there’s only a fake smile on your face, and I can sense it. Please come back and smile genuinely, even if it’s just for once. If you want to go back to how things were, you can, but please come back atleast once.

I know you’re traveling, but do you know why you’re traveling alone? You’re escaping and taking a break from your present life, from yourself. You’ve never done this before because once upon a time, you had everything and everyone beside you.

Traveling is great; you get to see new places, experience new cultures, meet new people, and more. But do it in a way that brings you joy not to escape from yourself, so it to find yourself. I know your capabilities, and I know you can achieve everything you want. You’ve done it before, I know this because you was me once upon a time. Try hard, reach your goals, and come back . And have a good time and smile . If you want to go back, you can always come back again. I’ll be waiting for you.
