Description
Captain Pravin Raghuvanshi, NM, an ex Indian Naval officer, who served as Senior Advisor in India’s Supercomputing organisation C-DAC, has been involved in various diversified fields, like, Artificial Intelligence and High Performance Computing and the Machine Translation.
Pravin Raghuvanshi, an ardent fan of poetry, —considered as the voice of heart, that expresses the innermost feelings and emotions in words and speech, took upon the mantle of enthralling the readers with the classical English ‘Shayari’, non-existent hitherto, owing to lack of equivalent words and degree of difficulty.
His literary pursuit also spans across various diversified domains, including translation catering for the readers within the country and beyond. He has also undertaken translation work assigned by Shri Narendra Modi, the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, which was highly appreciated by him.
Pravin Raghuvanshi has also been participating in literature fests and presided over the session focused on “Language and Translation” in the International Conference, held at New Delhi, organized in collaboration with New York University, South Asian Language Program and Columbia University.
Pravin Raghuvanshi is a prolific writer and also a member of ‘Bombay Film Writers Association’. He is a ‘Ghazal’ writer himself and participates in ‘Mushaira’.
In the Indian Navy, he served in various capacity and was awarded ‘Nao Sena Medal’ by the Hon’ble President of the India. Besides, being qualified to command all types of warships, he is an aviator and a deep sea diver also. He is also a recipient of the Prime Minister Award.
He is a painter too and has held several painting exhibitions.
He is also an alumnus of India’s most prestigious Management Institution, the IIM Ahmedabad.
