Description
LIFE JOURNEY VIA POETRY
This book is a collection of my mother’s life journey in a poetic manner.
From genesis till her end, the happiness, the sorrows, the pain, the cancer, how it begins and how it ends. Being a blessed soul with spiritual traits, carrying a humble persona with innocent care giving eyes- that is what made her an unsung hero. Usually, our mother’s sacrifices themselves and all the credit goes to us- to our position/ status/ qualifications and all. Its them whose struggles are not mentioned, being unread and ignored.
What I did not do for her when she was alive, I want to satisfy myself via this little collection as a memory.
What Cancer took from her, its unexplainable. But, what kind of a person she was, that needs to be highlighted. From the beginning till the end, well, I guess, she did her best as a daughter, sister, daughter-in-law, wife, mother, aunt, granny, neighbour and as a friend to cows of Vrindavan and too, to her Spiritual Master and Krishna Conscious Serving Society as a whole.
Being a housewife, she used to do social service by stitching tents like cloth pieces with wide perimeter, dresses of idols, the Asanas for sitting over ground, the chanting bags, the caps and so on.
After giving birth to two daughters and two abortions, her physical as well as mental health started deteriorating but nobody noticed. Occupied with the households, responsibilities, and all, she was just running for several years neglecting her own symptoms and that’s how when cancer showed its sign, it was grade 3 and eventually converted into 4 and we lost her.
This book is a dedication to her 10th Death Ceremony by summarizing & pondering her life’s journey via poetic summation.
