
Shrestha Halder
Shreshtha Halder is a talented artist and writer known for her remarkable achievements in both visual arts and literature. She is currently pursuing a degree in English Literature at Vivekananda College, Kolkata. She completed her Higher Secondary education at Bidya Bharati Girls’ High School with 85% marks and holds a Senior Diploma in Fine Arts from the All India Fine Arts Association.
Her artistic accomplishments include a Special Mention in UNESCO’s International Art Contest, 1st place in the West Bengal Government’s Anti-Drug Art Competition, and several national and international awards. In recognition of her talent, she received the Times of India’s Student of the Year Award (2024) and the Telegraph’s 18 Under 18 Award, earning the title of Best Under-18 Artist of Eastern India.
Beyond art, Shreshtha is also a writer. Her book, “Whisper of the Dead,” was published by SGSH Publications, showcasing her storytelling skills. Passionate about creativity and social impact, she continues to make a mark in both the art and literary worlds.
